In 2014, JGP/Brazil acquired a controlling interest in NVIST Consultores de Engenharia do Ambiente S.A., an environmental and social consultancy established in Lisbon in 2009. This became JGP/NVIST, that has continued to expand since and today has a record that includes over 100 projects in Portugal and about 40 in Africa where it has worked in 12 countries. This experience includes ports, highways, metro lines, hydroelectric plants, thermal power plants, solar energy, transmission lines, irrigation systems, and real estate development projects. JGP/NVIST’s operational structure includes a senior group of environmental and social specialists focused on diverse infrastructure projects, applying the most rigorous international standards. Much of the company’s work is under contract with multilateral financial institutions. For larger projects, JGP/NVIST partners with JGP/Brazil.
